Launched in the spring of 2005, Sunday’s primary goal was to create products that address the reliability problems that riders have faced since the 1980’’s. Back when Sunday began, ordinary frames were still struggling with the same-old ""weight verses strength"" issues that had limited riders for over two decades. Even in the heaviest and strongest frames, the dropouts would still bend or pinch, top and downtubes would still dent, headtubes would still pop off unexpectedly, and rear triangles would still twist. Believing that “BMX” deserved better, Sunday began implement features like hollow dropouts, Wave tubing, 41-Thermal heat-treating, and a level of detail in their design and manufacturing steps that had never been seen before. Sunday quickly became known for ground-breaking technical innovations and modern frame designs. Sunday also strongly believed in building one of the most talented and creative teams, working with riders that would reflect the same attitude they have towards developing their products. Sunday’s team and products standout because of substance, quality and originality, and they have always been proud of that. They are motivated now more than ever to continue to make the bikes and products that will meet the needs of today’s riders.
