Ring your bell: we all know about pedestrians stepping off pavements and wandering into cycle lanes without looking, while when you’re pounding a trail you need to warn walkers that you’re approaching. Make a little noise when necessary – choose from old-fashioned ‘ping’ bells, or more powerful electronic horns. We’ve also got Disney bike bells for the kids.
