Mirrors
Keep an eye on your rivals or on traffic approaching from behind with a rear-view mirror, which can be mounted on your helmet, handlebars or bar ends. Remember the driving instructors' mantra: mirror, signal, manoeuvre. It's good for cyclists, too.
