Cassettes & Freewheels 

Cassettes are the cogs that fit to the rear wheel and provide the range of gears needed on modern bicycles. Freewheel units allow bikes to roll without the pedals spinning around.

Chainrings 

Chain rings are the large cogs that fit to the cranks on a bike transferring power from your legs into the chain. Chainrings from Shimano, TA and Campagnolo are the most popular brands. Available in a variety of bolt patterns, we stock chainrings for 4 arm, 5 arm compact and 5 arm standard for mountain bikes and double and triple for road bikes.

Forks 

There is a huge variety of forks for sale on our website. Gear Levers 

Quick gear changing is a must have when you're in a sticky situation on your bike. We have gear levers for mountain bikes including rapid fire shifters from Shimano and SRAM as well as grip shift style shifters as well. For road bikes we offer STI integrated gear and brake levers from Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo.

Handlebar Ends 

Bar ends fit on the end of flat handlebars and are secured using Allen bolts. They offer cyclists additional riding positions - especially good if your arms and back get tired whilst out on the bike. Popular amongst cross country mountain bikers bar ends allow the rider to get extra power and traction when climbing.

Handlebar Grips 

A key contact point with the bike a comfortable set of grips will reduce your fatigue and increase your control. Lock-on grips are good for mountain biking as they won't slip and twist. Dual compound grips provide increased grip and are long lasting. Ergonomic handlebar grips are popular amongst leisure cyclists, tourers and all day MTB riders.

Handlebar Tape 

Made from vibration absorbing compounds handlebar tape provides a comfortable and controlled grip for drop handle road bike bars. Bar tape is easy to fit and in most cases comes supplied complete with bar end plugs to finish the job. Remember if you're buying a set of handlebars, they won't come with tape so this item is an essential purchase.

Handlebars 

One of the key contact points on a bicycle is the handlebars. Having the right set of bars on your bike makes a huge difference in the geometry of your bicycle and the comfort of your ride. For road bikes drop handle bars are the most common, for mountain bikes we stock flat bars and riser bars. Our range also includes BMX handlebars & tri-bars.

Headsets 

The most common type of headset found on bikes today is the A-headset or threadless headset - these light weight and highly durable headsets are durable and provide years of use if maintained regularly. The other type of headset found on older or value bikes is the quill or threaded headset.

Inner Tubes 

The humble inner tube is our best selling product.We have a vast range of tubes for all wheel sizes - 26" tubes for mountain bikes and leisure bikes, 700c or 29" tubes for road bikes. We also stock specialist tubes for children's bikes - 12", 20", 18" & 24", tubes for BMX bikes and for downhill bikes. Presta & Schrader valve version are available.

Pedals 

There are a range of different style pedals available. The most basic versions are flat pedals. Pedals with toe clips and straps offer security for your feet. Clipless pedal systems such as Shimano SPD attach cycling specific 'SPD compatible' shoes to the pedals by way of a binding mechanism - these transfer maximum energy into the cranks.

Propstands 

Propstands, or kick stands allow you to park your bicycle without the need for a cycle rack. They mount on the frame just behind the bottom bracket and hold the bike upright freestanding. Propstands can be fitted to most bikes and are popular on touring bikes and kids bikes.

Racks & Lo-Riders 

Need to carry luggage with you on your bike? Then you'll need to invest in a rear rack or a set of from lo-rider racks or both! Once fitted to the bike, panniers can then be mounted on the rack or lo-riders allow you to transport a vast amount of luggage on your bike.

Saddles 

Saddles are a primary contact point between the rider and the bike. A comfortable bicycle saddle will enable you to ride for hours without getting sore. Saddles range from light weight racing seats through to large comfort saddles for the occasional cyclist. Women's specific versions are designed for the unique shape of the female sit bones.

Seatposts 

Upgrading your seatpost to a lighter version will help reduce the weight of your bike making it easier to ride.
