Sprockets
Get your gear ratio bang-on with the perfect combo. Selecting a bigger sprocket – up to 36T – means it will be harder to pedal, while rings as small as 23T can enable you to run a micro drive set-up, saving weight and improving clearance. Sprockets come in a range of patterns and colours, from specialist BMX brands like WeThePeople, Proper, United and Odyssey. To get the right ratio for you, think about the size of your freewheel – the smaller cog which fits to the rear hub and completes the gearing package.
