Ride It! - Organised Rides

The rides are non-competitive with an emphasis on having fun with other riders, riding in new areas and sampling some of the best off-road and road riding that the UK has to offer.

March 20th & 21st '10: Harewood, Yorkshire

Just north of Leeds is the village of Harewood. Its from here that we depart for a ride in the surrounding countryside. A no hassles day in the saddle with Evans Cycles.

April 10th & 11th '10: Woking

Another favourite location of ours and popular due to it's proximity to London. The Woking Ride It! explores some of the great bridleways and country lanes that Surrey has to offer.

April 24th & 25th '10: Milton Keynes

More than just roundabouts! Milton Keynes has a great offering of both off-road and road riding. As with all Ride It! events, demo bikes will be available for riders to test the latest technology in the field.

May 8th & 9th '10: Reading, South Chilterns

Reading is our Event Manager Deans home town. Let him take you on a tour of his favourite singletrack on the Saturday and country lanes on the Sunday.

May 23rd '10: King of the Downs Sportive (Gatwick)

Harder, longer and hillier than the usual Ride It! sportives, the King of The Downs super sportive will test your road cycling strength and endurance to the max. 113 mile super sportive and 56 mile half sportive distances available.

June 5th & 6th '10: Thirsk, North York Moors

Remote, stunning and exhilarating are words that describe this Ride It! venue. Get off the beaten track and into one of the most stunning and iconic areas of the North of England.

June 12th & 13th '10: Dorking, North Downs

One of our most popular events, the Dorking Ride It! explores the North Downs and Surrey Hills - arguably the best riding in the South East.

July 3rd & 4th '10: Peak District

They call it the Peak District for a reason - it's hilly! The good news is it's all rideable, just take your time and get rewarded with some super descents both on and off-road depending on which day you ride.

July 17th & 18th '10: Hatfield, North London

Blast through the Lea Valley on your mountain bike or explore the quiet roads and lanes of Hertfordshire on your road bike as Ride It discovers some great countryside north of the Capital.

July 24th & 25th '10: Brighton

The Brighton round of the Ride It! series is dominated by the mighty South Downs. Both the mountain bike and sportive road ride tackle the downs head on rewarding riders with stunning views of the coast.

August 7th & 8th '10: Cotswolds

An iconic ride in an iconic part of the country. Come and explore the Cotswolds on your bike with Ride It!

August 21st & 22nd '10: Liphook, Hampshire

Explore the Devils Punchbowl on the off-road ride, or the South Downs on the sportive road ride from the Liphook base of this Ride It! event.

September 4th & 5th '10: Lake District

Make the most of your weekend with a visit to the Lake District hosted by Ride It! Fantastic riding in a remote part of the UK.

September 11th & 12th '10: Great Missenden, West London

West of London and at the foot of the Chiltern Hills, Great Missenden invites you to stretch your legs and let you feel the wind in your helmet with Ride It!

September 25th & 26th '10: Biggin Hill, North Downs

Chocks away! This event takes off from Biggin Hill, conveniently located within the M25. Fly through the singletrack of the North Downs or touch down on the country lanes of Kent with Ride It!

October 9th & 10th '10: Cannock Chase, Birmingham

Midlands riding Mecca of Cannock Chase hosts this round of the Ride It! event series. Just north of Birmingham and within easy reach of the city this will be a great weekend out for MTBers and Roadies alike.

October 23rd & 24th '10: Gatwick

We infiltrate the bridleways, lanes and roads of Sussex and Surrey with this edition of Ride It! departing from Evans Cycles at Gatwick.

November 6th & 7th '10: Nottingham

The off-road and sportive road routes takes us through Sherwood Forest and in the footsteps of Robin Hood, and my, wont we all be merry men after this!
