Goggles vary from simple pool goggles, to masks and hybrids – a cross between the two. Some people choose masks to offer them extra protection in an open water swim, whilst others are happy with the minimal shape of normal goggles. You can get goggles in different colours, darker ones which are better for swimming in open water, sunny conditions, clear or yellow ones for dull days, or blue or violet ones for cloudy days. Higher end goggles will have an anti-fog protection so they don’t mist up. The right choice for you comes down to personal choice, and the conditions you expect to swim in, so take a look through the options we’ve got.
