Jon has some new Gore Bike Wear Active Shell demo clothing which will be available at the King of the Penines and all future Ride It events. Here’s what’s new…
New Active Shell, the most breathable GORE-TEX® Laminate ever!
GORE BIKE WEAR® have developed two new GORE-TEX® jackets for their Autumn/ Winter range using their new super-breathable Active Shell laminate. Available to demo at this weekend’s King of the Pennines event are the Oxygen, Oxygen Ladies and Fusion jackets. These jackets will be arriving in Evans stores in the next few days so this is a great opportunity to demo this new development in Gore’s waterproof clothing range. The Oxygen Jacket is shaped especially for the performance road cyclist with a close fit. The Fusion is a cross-over piece and can be used for a variety of uses such as on the road, during the daily commute or off-road riding.
The main benefits of the Active Shell are the following:
– Durably Waterproof and Windproof – Keeping to the well-known Gore ‘GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRY’ promise.
– Lightweight – The total weight of garments engineered with GORE-TEX® Active Shell does not exceed 400g
– Excellent Next to Skin Comfort – The 3 layer construction with it’s intergrated backer textile manages condensation from the inside. This means you can wear the jacket with a short sleeve jersey for excellent next-to-skin comfort.
– Specially Developed For Highly Aerobic Activities – Designed specifically for high aerobic activities such as cycling and running GORE-TEX® Active Shell really does take breathable waterproof fabric to a new level!
GORE-TEX® Active Shell will now be available at all Ride It events.
