What are Nectar Points?

 
 
 
 
Nectar is a coalition loyalty programme where collectors can collect Nectar points with a range of participating companies (e.g. Sainsbury's and BP) every time they shop. Nectar points can then be exchanged for hundreds of treats including CDs, DVD's, flights, fun days out and treats and gifts either online in the Spend points section of www.nectar.com or by calling the Nectar Helpline

What is Nectar eStores?

 
 
 
 
Nectar eStores is the online shopping portal of Nectar. Collectors can now collect Nectar points on their online shopping, with over 200 online retailers including Amazon, ebay.co.uk, the Apple Store and many more.

How does this relate to Evans Cycles

 
 
 
 
Nectar eStores retailers are part of Evans Cycles affiliate program. This means that there is an agreement where Nectar can place links on the Evans Cycles website which can track a sale when a customer clicks through and purchases a product or service.
This relationship does not mean that a customer can buy goods or services on the Nectar site (they only click through from the Nectar site to Evans Cycles site and it does not mean that Evans Cycles are responsible for awarding the points.

 

General notes:

 

  • In order to collect points with Nectar eStores collectors must:
1. Access Nectar eStores from the 'Collect Points' link on www.nectar.com or click on Shop online
2. Select a retailer with whom they wish to make a purchase with
3. Enter their Nectar card number where prompted
4. Press 'Go Shopping' to be directed to Evans Cycles site
5. Complete a transaction online
  • Points will only be awarded when a customer transacts with Evans Cycles through Nectar eStores. No points will be issued if a customer connects to the retailer’s site directly, or completes the transaction in-store or over the phone.
  • It can take up to 28 days from the purchase for Nectar points to be credited to a customer's Nectar account at the rate detailed on the Nectar eStores site.
  • Points cannot be issued retrospectively if a collector does not connect through Nectar eStores.

  • Any queries relating to Evans Cycles products or services will be referred to Evans Cycles call centre/website.
  • Evans Cycles are not responsible for crediting a customer's nectar account with points, only Nectar can issue points.
  • Evans Cycles cannot advise how many points a customer has collected, only Nectar can confirm this.
