Straight from their Californian HQ, we've got the low down on the 2010 Specialized Bike range.  With many of their current 2009 range sold out (or selling out fast) many of the new 2010 models are already on the shop floor, with more expected this Autumn.

Specialized are one of our biggest selling bike brands, and for good reason too - they're constantly pushing the technical boundries on bicycle construction and offer fantastic value for money.

For 2010 there are a couple of exciting new additions to the company's aluminium road bike models, refreshed carbon road models, plus major revamps to mountain bikes for dirt fans and something new for the recretional rider too!

2010 Specialized Road bikes

The name Secteur is a French word that describes sections of cobbles in the famous Paris-Roubaix race. It's also the name for the new range of road bikes from Speciailzed. With identical geometry to its popular big brother the Roubaix, a lightweight alloy frame and comfort-enhancing features like Zertz inserts, this Endurance Road bike will make you want to go the distance every day.

If you're looking for all out performance the new 2010 Specialized Tarmac range will take you to the thrill of the start, it'll be there on the rigourous training rides and feed your need for speed. The Tarmac is famous for its light weight, stiffness and razor-sharp handling. The Tarmac has been proven fast at every level of competition, by the world's best racers. Available this Autumn.

The Speciailzed Allez is a tried and tested road bike. One of the longest running models from the big bike brand it is anything but long in the tooth. Year on year the designers work on improving the bike. A true speedster with exceptional value, the Allez family delivers all the light weight, precision handling and unrequited efficiency demanded by lovers of road riding everywhere.

2010 Specialized Hardtail Mountain Bikes

Better than ever, even after all these years, the Specialized Hardrock is still one of the best performing mountain bikes in its class. Relaxing and Recreational

If its versitilty your after look no further than the Specialized Crosstrail range.  Intended for casual riders who want to go where they please, asphalt or a fun local trail, the balanced road and mountain features make it quick enough for the streets, but tough enough to tackle off-road obstacles with ease.

The Specialized Ariel is new women's model which is the sister to the men's Crosstrail and shares the same riding experience.

2010 Specialized Full Suspension Mountain Bikes

The Speciailzed mountain bike range has had some serious re-working for 2010 - not that much needed fixing in the first place!

For XC Trail riders, it’s all about feeling the flow over rough terrain, conquering new trails and having serious fun. The most significant news is that Specialized's trail flagship – the Specialized Stumpjumper FSR – gets  a complete reworking for 2010. Travel increases to 140mm front and rear, the weight is dropped across the board and the Fox Brain rear shock returns to the range. Available to purchase this Autumn.

Where XC and DH collide, you’ll find the lightweight Specialized Enduro SL (below). Specialized have worked from the ground up to save kilograms rather than just grams is the new Enduro. Despite the lack of weight it’s certainly no fragile long-travel cross-country bike. Available this Autumn.

Plus the new Specialized Safire is Speciailzed's designated all-rounder for female riders, designed to cover 90 percent of riding situations with its long travel front and rear suspension. Plus there is another new bike for women the Specialized Era, essentially its a fast full on XC machine just like the trusted Specialized Epic. No images as yet but we'll have them soon.
