Pinnacle eXpede rated 9/10 - 220 Tri Magazine

For any budding rider the winter weather can play havoc with motivation . With a cyclo cross bike comes variety - boosting motivation as you try to master something new and a stable, comfortable bike to take on the sometimes wet or icy roads that are common to winter riding.

Cyclo Cross bikes have a similar look to road bikes, but are equipped with knobbly tyres and cantilever brakes.
The frames are shaped slightly differently to provide mud clearance that isn't found on standard road bikes. These thin-tyred speed machines are perfect for less technical off-road sections or off-road multisport events.

220 Triathlon Magazine reviewed the Pinnacle eXpede 1.0 in the latest January issue. Obviously its not a typical bike for a triathlon magazine to review. However swapping your aero bars for knobbly tyres works as a great winter bike full of fun.

The Pinnacle eXpede recieved a glowing report from the well established magazine who ranked the bike 9/10 overall, rewarding it with an impressive 10/10 for value.

"it's also a better fitting, a better shifting set-up, and the springier ride definately gives the eXpede a lot more vitality and agility on the trail." 9/10
