Tube strike

With the RMT union announcing a 48 hour tube strike from the 9th until the 11th of June millions of Londoners can expect to see their daily commute go down the tube.

However there’s one group of commuters that won’t be giving a moments thought to the latest industrial action – the legions of cyclists commuting to and from work by bike in the capital.

Using a bicycle for your regular commute on one of the many cycle routes available across London is an excellent way of beating the tube strike. It is also healthier and better for the environment and beats using sweltering, overcrowded public transport.
