After a winning spring series, ‘One for the Girls; ladies shopping nights are back in Evans Cycles stores for a summer tour.

Women’s cycling is gathering speed and we want to make sure we’re supporting new riders as well as those who have been on their bikes for decades.

The events are being supported by Heather Bamforth, the qualified coach behind the Racing Chance foundation, a charity devoted to developing women’s cycle racing. She and other experts will be on hand to provide advice about anything from starting out, your first commutes, learning to ride clipped in, to first steps into racing, and writing a training plan for your events.

Every event will feature a warm welcome and short talk on women’s summer clothing from one of our expert female colleagues who will be touring the stores. Following this, we’ll have a short introduction from a qualified cycling coach and from our store mechanic. Each expert will then host a Q+A session in the store, giving you all the chance to circulate and ask your questions.

On top of learning from excellent speakers, every attendee will be able to enjoy exclusive discounts, nibbles and fizz, plus a goody bag for the first 50 ladies through the door.
