The new road range includes some refined familiar faces with the Allez Elite getting a price drop for 2013, and the introduction of some new disc brake models including the Secteur Sport Disc. The Shiv has been a hugely successful TT and triathlon machine at the top level but realistically unaffordable for many. Bridging the gap for 2013 Specialized have introduced the carbon Shiv Comp, and an entry level alloy version priced at £1200. Specialized is one of the few brands who really take women’s bikes serious, with 3 models; the Amira, Ruby and Dolce, covering every rider’s needs from the racer to fitness enthusiast.
Specialized has been a leader in the MTB world for many years now and the 2013 line-up looks set to see them maintain this position. The noticeable movement for next years range is their advocacy for the 29in (bigger for better rolling) wheel with certain lines only being available in 29er options, including the popular Stumpjumper, Epic, and Camber. Specialized have strived to develop ‘29ers for all’ with geometry and spec carefully considered to produce the complete package, resulting in optimal fit and best performance. Whatever your style or budget you’re sure to find the perfect ride for your favourite terrain in their 2013 range with hardtail bikes starting from £350.
These popular bikes combine elements of both road and mountain platforms to produce a great all-rounder. Fast hybrids are perfectly suited to city commuting, such as the women’s specific Vita and also the Sirrus, offering the speed of a road bike coupled with the comfort of a flat bar bike. Specialized’s all-purpose Crosstrail and Ariel bikes have been designed for the rider who wants to stay in shape while enjoying the outdoors. These bikes are an all-access pass to pavement, dirt, and everything in between with front suspension and disc brakes on most models for a comfortable and dependable ride. If you’re after a do it all, all rounder then browse Specialized 2013 hybrid bikes.
We have been selling Specialized bikes for some 27 years and it’s one of our most popular brands on the shop floor. Founded during the mountain bike revolution in the 70’s, the now somewhat iconic Stumpjumper was the first major production MTB in the world. The equally renowned Allez was born in 1979 and both bikes respectively live on today, evolving over the years and still class leaders.

Producing bikes for all types of cyclist, their range consists of road, mountain, hybrid and kids bikes for all ages, and we hope you like them as much as us. Plus, thanks to our friends there we’ve got a Secteur Elite road bike to give away.
