Sweet bike, but all down to personal preference.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Pros: Good quality, Comfortable, Looks great

Had to wait a long time for this to be delivered, but was glad when it arrived. My previous bike was an aluminium Bianchi ML3, and after trying several road bikes from other brands i went back to looking at my next Bianchi.

It's great out of the box, if a bit pricey. Evans advertised it as a 53/39 chainset when it's actually a 50/34 (but maybe coz my 53cm frame is too small for it?).

The ride is smooth and the narrow handlebars suit me just fine as my ML3 had almost the same. It means the rider needs to be slightly more sensitive with their steering, but also means the bike can pull some fast maneuvers.

The Veloce gear kit shifts smooth enough, but not as smooth as the Mirage that i had on my ML3 (which is lower in the price range). This bike just wants to go forward, and as fast as it can. Whether or not it's just in my head but the energy that i give with my legs is being used very well. If you're planning on full-on sprints you will run out of gears on a 50/34, but climbing will be a lot easier.

The Khasim wheels that were part of my package are really quite heavy, but they are solid and strong at the moment. I like the layout of the spokes :) The pawl and ratchet (the mechanism that makes that clicking sound) are really loud on this set, but i like it, it doubles as a signal to let cyclists behind me know that i'm slowing down. Also partially gets pedestrian's attention.

The white decals are gorgeous, but i actually bought it to be more visible during day and night. The only downside is it needs a quick wipe down after every journey (though we should be doing that with all our bikes anyways).

As for climbing steeps hills, on my ML3 i used to shout "I eat hills for breakfast!", now i don't need to say anything :)
