This bike suits my needs Perfect bike to use with my motorhome, to cycle sedately on cycle paths or around the camp sites. Light enough to be able to lift it on and off the bike rack. The upright position is comfortable. It is a pretty colour and I feel good on it. I thought it was expensive because I was hoping to pay less as I only cycle occasionally but it is probably value for money. January 26, 2013

Excellent Bicycle I purchased this bicycle two weeks ago and it arrived built up. I just had to put the pedals on and sort out the handle bars and seat and off I went. It is a great ride. I highly recommend it. September 5, 2012

A thing of beauty is a joy forever... I can't imagine life without my yellow birdie. It is such a pretty thing I genuinley feel happier when I'm cycling around on it. It is definitely a bike for leisurley rides to the shops or through the park though as it is not very fast and only has 3 gears so don't expect to use it for a busy commute or to get anywhere in a hurry. Beautiful bike, comfortable ride This is a beautiful bicycle. I 've had plenty of compliments while riding it, and the pale blue colour makes every day sunny. I had a racing bike before this, so I am finding it quite hard to adapt to the fact that this is not a fast bike. I imagine that the Birdie is no different from other lady-bikes in being quite slow and heavy. I have quite a large basket on the front, so it is not made for nipping between cars, or carrying up stairs. It is built for going on gentle jaunts to the shop and down the canal. In saying that, I do use it for commuting to my work, which is onlu about a 15-20 minutes cycle. I'm happy to take my time, and the bike is comfortable and feels stable. If the journey was longer than that I would have probably got a hybrid to allow me to nip between the cars. May 28, 2012
