Bontrager Speed Bottle/Cage ,very good aero and light August 14, 2012

The bottle is a loose fit and rattles - unuseable This product looks great but is actually very poor. The bottle is not a tight fit in the cage and rattles very loudly - extremely annoying and for me not fit for purpose. Mine is lying in a drawer never to be used ..... buy a cheaper tight fitting bottle cage and a camelbak bottle (no issues with getting the water out!) ... June 15, 2012

Expensive but great bottle to complement your bike I've been looking around the net to find a matching bottle for my bike and when I landed on the Bontrager Speed Bottle, I knew it would perfectly complement it. I didnt get it for it's aero dynamics, or to gain any speed, but I wanted a bottle larger than 500ml (as it is in fact 610ml) to fit my small frame bike (16"). It fits snugly in its carbon cage and tested it at quite some extreme offroad, and it stood up for the challenge. It takes a little bit to learn how to disengage it from its cradle but once you get the hang of it, it becomes second nature to pop it in and out. Well, my conclusion is that its quite an expensive piece of bottle, but if you have a smallish frame and want to carry as much water as you can in a single bottle, then its the price to pay I guess...and it looks cool too.
