This is a beautiful, elegant bike and it is a pleasure to ride it. August 28, 2012

The image above does not do this bike justice Just collected my bike today and so far so good. The bike looks absolutely beautiful and much better in real life than the photo suggests. It is surely built to rival the vintage bikes and is such a smooth ride. The only changes I am going to make is to the saddle and handle bar grips, that make the bicycle look cheap, I will be replacing them with the Brooks versions of each. I was originally planning to replace the basket as well but it seems really strong and well made, and looks to last longer than any wicker basket. It rode like a dream on it's first ride from the Canary Wharf store to Tower bridge, loved being able to cycle through the puddles and not getting my back soaked and had so many admiring glances especially from men! One con is that after whizzing around on a Apollo hybrid bike (that recently died) I have got to get used to a bike with only 7 gears which is also a bit heavier. Did me well today though managing to over take some Barclay bikes and champion a steep hill on the cycle path! Now to think of a name for her and keep her in good shape :) April 17, 2012
