Evans Cycles Ride It! Reading, South Chilterns - Off-Road Entry NOV 2009

This is our Event Manager Deans home event so the routes are a mix of his favourite local trails and woodland. From fast, flowing tracks along the edge of the Thames to a 2 mile singletrack blast through English woodlands, you'll be pleasantly surprised by what Reading has to offer. The Short route is approximately 90% Off road, with the Medium and Long going on to do many more miles of riding in the South Chilterns. Plus, stay after dark and join us for a Night Ride at this event!

With nights closing in we thought a night ride might be a fun thing to do!! The route will basically be the Short route at about 12-15 miles and start times will be from 3pm until 4pm. (Sun sets at 4.20pm so you'll need lights from about 3:50 in the woods!!) Reflective arrows will be in place to guide you and there will be a range of the award winning Exposure lights for hire at the event centre. Front and rear lights are compulsory for all entrants and you will be refused a ride if you do not have them.

Every Ride It! entry includes: Way marked routes for all abilities, FREE Memory Map OS Map, on site mechanical support, FREE SIS energy food & drink.
