Racing 3 are the intermediate wheels in the Fulcrum range in aluminium - Wheels of a polyvalent nature they are ideal in competitions century rides and everyday training - Thanks to a special solution the aluminium rim with a height of 26mm is lightened between the spokes - In other words in the section of the rim not subjected to any particular stresses where the reduction of the material diminishes the peripheral mass and inertia and does not affect the solidity of the wheel
The top rim groove is not perforated and providing advantages in weight terms - no rim tape is required - and from a mechanical point of view - greater torsional rigidity and greater vertical elasticity - The hubs are of the oversized type and are fitted with adjustable bearings for maximum smoothness and ease of maintenance - The 2mm steel spokes feature a streamlined profile which encourages aerodynamic penetration and reduces the formation of vortices
