Very pleased indeed with this jacket. High quality, warm and totally windproof. It also seems to be pretty waterproof, in light rain at least. Great jacket for the colder months.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Pros: Good quality, Comfortable, Lightweight, Looks great, dries quickly

Oh man... I love this jacket! At the time of writing this review (11/1/12), it's the only thing I wear on my upper body, keeping me more than comfortable to make my 6.5 mile journey into central London for work.

The material feels good against my bare skin and doesn't create any uncomfortable sticky feelings when I begin to sweat. It really DOES do a great job masking out cold winds, and is surprisingly water resistant. I'm not sure how well it will fair in very heavy rain, but of the light showers I've cycled through, I've remained dry underneath. It zips up to cover most of my neck and I generally don't feel any wind creeping down the front of my neck.

The pockets are useful I guess, but I honestly haven't used them as I typically carry everything in my rucksack.

Overall, I'm really impressed by this jacket! I really can't think of a reason not to recommend it. I'm afraid that anything cheaper just wouldn't be able to match the quality, plus I think it looks great!

All that said though, I think it's worth telling a bit about myself and my riding habits, to help you decide if this is the right jacket for you...

I'm a reasonably healthy 27 years old of average size. My arms aren't huge or anything and the Medium sized jacket fits fine (perfect amount of looseness to remain comfortable). My 6.5 mile journey to work takes me from East London to very-very Central London through sometimes heavy traffic. It typically takes me about 35-40 minutes. I do not ride particularly fast/hard to avoid building up a lot of sweat to minimise my cool down period when I arrive at the office. I don't consider myself particularly tolerable with cold weather (used to wear 2 layers before I got this jacket and still felt cold). I expect to have to wear at least a thin t-shirt underneath the jacket when if a major cold snap hits the country.

To conclude, if you're journey is noticeably shorter than mine, it's probably not worth getting this jacket unless you really hate the cold. Otherwise, I strongly advise this product!

This jacket is great. It looks great on, is windproof and I have found it pretty waterproof also - although don't know how it would hold up in a sustained downpour.
