The GT Avalanche 3.0 Disc Womens 2010 Mountain Bike features a GT Triple Triangle design 6061 aluminium frame, SR Suntour XCM forks and Tektro cable actuated disc brakes.

This is my first bike since childhood. I'm enjoying riding it - my husband and I like to ride together. It's sturdy, very good quality and has really good brakes. The comfort of the ride is not bad, and it's pretty too!

Excellent value for money.

Cons: Heavy

For the price point, this is an excellently specced bike. Good brakes, drivetrain, saddle and tyres all bolted on to a very stable frame. This was bought as my wife's first mtb and she loves it! Its not the lightest bike out there but its certainly up to some decent abuse.
