Yes, I recommend this product.

Pros: Good value, Lightweight, tastes good

I don't like most gels on account of their synthetic flavour and gloopy texture. For me High 5 scores well both on flavour, which is mildly citrus and on texture, which is liquid enough to swallow easily while racing. They claim to have the right kind of sugar and I have found them to be a good source of energy in triathlons, marathons and on long bike rides.

The tear off top is easy to manage with fingers and teeth though it can be a bit messy as the contents are quite runny. High 5 could take a leaf from Clif Shots book and attach the tear off top to the main gel wrapper to cut down on litter. Even with the best will in the world it can be hard to hold onto the top bit - on the plus side it's pretty small.

Pros: Good quality

I purchased these energy gels in training for a JOGLE charity ride in September. Great product which really does give you the boost needed to complete endurance events. Excellent.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Pros: Good value, easy to use

Training for a marathon, so using for my long training runs at the moment. Gels are easy to open and are easy to take in on the run. Orange flavour is fine (its not something I would take if it was put on a plate, but for an energy gel, pleasant enough).

I haven't tried to many other gels, but feel quite happy to use these as provide a good boost.
