High 5 Energy Source 4:1 Super Carbs 1.6kg is an advanced fuel for use during exercise. It contains 4 parts carbohydrate to 1 part protein. Research shows that this ratio can provide endurance athletes with more energy than carbohydrate alone and that protein protects muscles from being broken down and used as fuel during endurance training and competition. Energy Source 4:1 contains High 5’s unique High Electrolyte Anti Cramping formula , which is designed to maximise fluid uptake and minimise the onset of cramp. High 5 4:1 super carbs. Excellent product that does what it says on the tin!! Easy to mix (no lumps or powdery bits) and is pleasant to drink. I find it helps me stay stronger on the long runs. March 25, 2011

Reduces Muscle Soreness & Cramp Needs shaking, but the added whey isolate does appear to help me on my regular long winter rides (3hr+) including 100mi in 6hr0min. A key benefit, is good recovery, allowing 3 days of rides racking up tough & extreme Strava suffer ratings. I never expected to increase my endurace to such levels, minimising effects of fatigue. The whey isolate takes a little getting used to at first and some bottle nozzles deliver it smoother than others. The main drawback is, you go through more of this powder than you would believe, I thus economise keeping 1 bottle in reserve, or diluting a little more than recommended, for lower intensity rides. I am however no "dependant" and maintain a stockpile of this product. December 28, 2012

Good product Tastes OK, mixes OK, doesn't screw your stomach up as long as you mix it with the stated amount of water and I've never gone flat using it. Sticking with it. September 5, 2012
