The Jamis Xenith Endura Sport 2012 Road Bike looks a lot like the Xenith Competition racers, sharing the same materials and engineering design elements – and they’re darned near as quick – but look closely, and you’ll discover these to be some of the most versatile speedsters around. Long-reach brakes give you loads of flexibility when it comes to tire selection, rack and fender eyelets let you be a bit more civilized, to match the (very) slightly tamed-down handling manners.

Xenith Endura Sport gets you race-level frame technology, in a package designed for the real world of weekend rides and summertime centuries, meticulously ride-tuned like our racers for perfectly balanced handling that lets you carve deep into corners, but with enhanced stability that prevents wrestling those pesky energy bar wrappers from turning into a white-knuckle adventure.

a good starter carbon bike I bought the jamis in the sale for £999 from £1500 so for that price u can afford to upgrade the wheels to make the ride more comfortable and the gears are very responsive May 9, 2013

Very good road bike Having made the change from a hybrid to a road bike for the commute to work, I have to say I'm impressed by the bike. The first week I did 90 miles. I topped the times on just about all my segments and knocked minutes of the commute to work. A very comfortable ride and as a 5ft 10inch man the 56inch frame was perfect for me. At the reduced price of £999 it was a bargain for a carbon frame, really nice colour, wheels are a bit heavy but having the light frame means I can build on the accessories as and when to lighten the whole bike.
