So far so good with these boots I bought these for commuting as fed up of getting cold and wet feet and having to mess about with overshoes, which only seem to last one season. I haven't fitted the front studs as don't need them for commuting. I think they'd look daft anyway. So far these have been excellent: comfortable, warm and fairly easy to get on. I've only used them in rain once so far and my feet stayed dry and warm. Other reviewers have commented on slackness at heel which is true but fine when only walking between bike parking and office/shower block. One other niggle is that the tongue can fold under at the edges but that doesn't spoil the fit or comfort. I have a slight worry that the zip may not last as I'm changing into and out of them every working day but so far no problems April 5, 2013

Tidy , good fit , Glad i got these for this winter, they have proved invaluable for keeping feet warm and dry , did have to get a size up from what i normally wear in other shoes. Also use a two pairs of socks combo to aid warmth. Rain , snow , low temperatures have not been as much an issue as last year, i was using overshoes and with the frequent on / off and soiling ,they ended up useless. I commute on shift work , so am on the road at 5am /,2pm,/10pm for minimum of an hour each way ,year round. Also do longer runs up to 4-5hrs when possible. Impressed with quality and appearance of shoe, and hope to get many years sevice from them. March 25, 2013

Stiff Winter Shoe These are pretty good winter shoes. The neoprene cuff makes them look taller than they are, but it's just the built-in neoprene overshoe above the ankle. Very stiff sole, fairly stiff rubber outsole as many have said, though I don't find it as slippy as it's been suggested. I've replaced the metal toe studs with some rubber football studs, much better. So far, so good, they've kept out water and mud from a few winter mtb rides, and kept my (cold) toes warm off road and on road too. Great value at this sale price too! March 11, 2013
