The Mavic XC717 Rim Silver is a Lightweight rim with Internal wear indicator which replaces the X517. SUP; stronger joint with no visible joints to prevent shuddering under braking and monobloc geometry makes wheel building and balancing easier. The rim utilizes Maxtal a specific Mavic 6000 series aluminium which is 30 percent stronger than an equal weight 6106 aluminium rim. Hammer hardening local strengthening of the rim or H2 technology, improves the life expectancy and resistance to micro cracking. Weight: 395g.
