The latest evolution of a coveted design, the Jawbone is like nothing ever seen in the world of sports. Every aspect is engineered around the clarity and protection of High Definition Optics. With Oakley's new Switchlock Technology, the lower part of the frame rim opens to allow easy access for quick lens changing, letting you optimize performance in any light condition. The revolutionary design holds the lenses with a suspension system so stresses on the frame won't affect the optics. Oakley engineered the pivoting system with a release mechanism that lets you remove and replace the nose piece with a different size to customize the fit. A comfortably secure fit is essential for athletic competition, so Oakley started this new design with the company's legendary Three-Point Fit. Instead of hooking the ears like conventional frames, a Three-Point Fit ensures the frame touches the wearer only at the bridge of the nose and the sides of the head. Complete with Hydrophobic technology, a permanent lens coating that prevents water from leaving streaks and sheens, which can compromise vision.

Whether it's rain, sweat or splashing runoff, H2O can't get a foothold. Each frame comes with two interchangeable sizes of nosepiece, a case for transport and Also included is a second lens for alternate light conditions (see notes).

If you care about vision, get them. Simple

Yes, I recommend this product.

Pros: Good quality, Comfortable, Lightweight, Looks great, fits well

Cons: Expensive

I bought a pair of these back in September and have never looked back. My attraction to them was the fact that the lenses can be changed so easily. I wear glasses myself, so one of the first things I did was order a spare pair of prescription lenses direct from Oakley. The switchlock technology means that you can remove the lenses and replace them with ease.
The design of the frame is such that the way the glasses sit on your face funnels air away from your eyes perfectly - meaning your eyes don't stream when you go downhill quickly and you don't look like a sissy because you've been crying from going too fast.
The stems fit very comfortably around the ears and grip very well to the side of your head. The earsocks are made of the comically named 'unobtainium' that has increased grip when wet with your sweaty ears. Yum. But it works.
Styling wise these shades do make you look kind of mad, especially if you go for some of the brighter colours. The reflective lenses combined with the shape of the frame around the eyes make you look very insect like (especially the Livestrong ones, which could make you look wasp-like).
The lenses themselves are fantastic. Oakley use their patented ‘High Definition Optics’ or HDO technology in their lenses. There are different lenses for different light conditions, but I found that the gold iridium lenses do just fine for a sunny day. Other lenses may appear darker, especially in this country when not in the middle of summer, so be careful about lens choice.
Unfortunately, they are rather expensive, but you are paying a premium for a very high end product that most definitely does perform.
A fantastic product that I recommend to anyone who cares highly about their vision when cycling.
