Superb bicycle despite being misled by advertising An outstanding bicycle, the most comfortable thing I've ever ridden! I recall the Pashley website describing the riding position as 'regal' - there's no better word for it! The three gears are sufficient for cycling in most towns and villages, excessive hills would be more of a problem of course. The only negative points I can make are that the image here on the Evans website is misleading, the bike I received did not come with the nice silver sprung saddle in the photo as I expected, instead a black spring 'budget' version arrived. The rack is not included, nor is the kickstand or the plastic rear wheel guard. The plastic chainguard rattles a bit on bumpy ground, which isn't great either. The unusual drum brakes are smooth and effective, the dimensions of the bike (handlebar shape/reach, feel whilst riding etc) are faultless, having the large 26" wheel so far out in front is a pleasure to see! Overall it is an extremely pleasing bicycle to ride, though a little attention to detail on Evans' part by advertising the right model would have been greatly appreciated. August 8, 2010
