Lovely looking Lovely basket, could have done with some instructions but we got there in the end. We added some cable ties as additional security. May 5, 2013

Great product, hard to fit. I purchased this basket as it is apparently designed specifically to fit the Pashley Poppy cycle. I am an experienced cycle mechanic of several years however even I found the fitting of this to be tricky. It came with a metal support (although the listing states this ISN'T included?) which requires removal of the headset locking ring and spacer to fit - not so easy if you don't have the required tools or knowledge. I had to relocate the leather straps that came pre-fitted to the basket as they were spaced too widely apart, the brake levers, bell and gear lever needed adjusting and I had to re-route the brake cables through a guide in the frame support so that they weren't getting squashed by the basket. However, once finally on it is very sturdy and compliments the bike fantastically. Overall, a recommended purchase but I would suggest getting your local Evans to fit should you not feel up to the task of doing it yourself! August 4, 2012
