Like many being a novice biker I had to look long and hard into the best value high spec bike i could find.

Eventually i went for the Pinnacle Peak 2.0. I havent been dissapointed, its not the lightest but thats easily forgiven (its not especially heavy either to be fair), the gears are crisp and clean, disc brakes work like a dream in any conditions and living in a hilly area as i do being able to lock out the front fork is essential, otherwise the suspension in the fork kind of absorbs all of your effort when your really putting it in.

Thats something i didnt realise before having always had solid frames, and most bikes of a similar price/ spec most didnt have a lock out front fork so thats probably worth looking out for on any bike (In my opinion anyway).

Overall, it puts a smile on my face and i have a blast on it whether on the road or off it, and who could ask for more than that.

After having my 11yr old Scott Yecora stolen I needed a modern replacement. I chose well.
The model I bought was the Dark Blue and it's looks are fantastic. Even with a few fittings (crud/rear guards, saddle wedge, pump/bottle etc) it's still quite lightweight and my joy of cycling has been rekindled.
I did replace the plastic pedals with metal ones (£20) and replaced the riser handlebars with straight ones (£15) but that's down to personal preference. The disc brakes are devastatingly good (never had them before) and the ride is the quitest I've ever known a bike.
Ordering online was simple and the bike came 90% built within two days. Just fitted the pedals and straightened the stem. The bike came with a good build multi tool for the job.
There's a 4-6 week free service which after 6 weeks I still haven't needed to use. That's how good the build on this is.
Well recommended.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Pros: Comfortable, Looks great

Brought this bike a few weeks ago and really impressed so far!

It was delivered within two days which I was not expecting and it was simple to get it ready to go riding.

I'm not one for slow riding, and the bike is handling everything I threw at it. I have mainly been riding on the road, but when I have gone off road the bike handled great.

The service I got at Evans in Lakeside was really helpful. I hadn't ridden for a while, so was able to test ride other bikes in my price range, and the Pinnacle Peak 2.0 was the one that stood out for me.

Pros: Good value, Good quality, Comfortable, Lightweight

I was searching on line for a bike
I looked everyday for a week
I wanted great value and top quality too
So opted for the Pinnacle Peak

The riding position is perfect
And the frame is balanced and light
The first time I rode my Pinnacle Peak
I knew that the bike felt just right

The disc brakes are awesome in the mud and the rain
And the tyres grip like a vice
The front forks with lockout make uphill a breeze
But I still stopped to rest once or twice

Riding to work or on a tough trail
The gears are smooth and precise
The saddle is comfy so I have to conclude
There is no better bike at this price
