Pros: Lightweight

Certainly catches the eye from a distance, great for night time riding. Just ensure that the battery pack is tucked away under the cover, if hanging out can eb uncomfortable on the back of your neck/head

Cons: Expensive

Bought after being hit by a car. This certainly adds that extra bit of confidence for the PM commute!

To be honest, friends that have passed me in cars report the LED strips are not visible until the driver is very close and the main visibility is derived from the hi vis fluorescence of the material (which you get from the cheaper hump covers). It is probably more useful on darker, less well lit roads than I use it on.
