New Genius design for 09, the lightest 150mm Marathon XC/Trail bike. Improved geometry and the new Equalizer2 TC rear shock with Oil Transfer System (OTS).

Lightweight hydro-formed alloy tubes and new geometry plus Fox TALAS RL forks and Scotts unique Equaliser shock, with three travel settings, makes the Genius extremely versatile. From fully rigid on the climbs to 150mm to bomb back down, controlled at your fingertips. SRAM X-9 and Avids Juicy 5 brakes.

The new frame weighs outrageously little at only 1840g (shock 410g), and is the lightest in its class! The Scott Genius 40 2009 Mountain Bike offers a 150mm rear-travel and is equipped with the patented 3 mode traction control system. The Genius is the ideal bike for marathons, long distance mountain rides or just a simple tour with your friends.
