Demo Bikes
As if taking in some of the best riding the UK has to offer wasn’t enough!
Evans Cycles gives you the opportunity to try out a selection of brand new cutting edge bikes from the cycle industry’s leading manufacturers at selected events.To find out which demo bikes are available you need to visit the event page for the Ride It! you want to attend.

Important Information
Deposits & Security
- A £35 fee will be charged to use a demo bike. Upon returning the bike this fee will be returned to the rider in the form of a £35 Evans Cycles voucher that can be used as payment towards a new bike purchase within 3 months from the date of issue. Only one voucher can be redeemed per purchase.
- On the day a valid credit card and photo ID (passport or drivers license) in the name of the rider is required for all demo bike bookings. These items will be retained by the demo bike staff during the ride and returned to the rider at the end of the ride.
- Reserved bikes must be paid for by the Monday before the event. If there has been no payment, the bike will be unreserved to allow other riders to book and demo the bike.
Day Long Booking
- Once booked, the demo bike is yours for the day to use on the full Ride It! course (distance of your choice). This way you get a full day in the saddle – the only way to fully appreciate and sample a new bike.
Day Rides Only
- Demo bikes can only be used at day time rides and not available for use at Night Rides (selected venues only).
Ride Entry
- All demo bike riders are required to purchase an entry for the ride.
18 & Over
- Demo bikes may only be used by riders 18 years of age or over.
Pedals & Helmets
- Demo bikes are supplied with flat pedals as standard. If you would like your own clipless pedals fitted please bring them with you and demo bike staff will hapilly fit them for you. You must supply your own helmet and wear this for the duration of the ride.
Water Bottles
- All demo bikes are fitted with water bottle cages if possible. Please bring your own water bottle for the ride. Alternatively water bottles can be purchased at the start/finish venue.
Survival Pack
- All demo bikes come equipped with a saddle pack containing, a spare tube, patches, tyre levers and a multi-tool. As well as a pump and water bottle cage.
Booking Deadline
- The deadline for placing a demo bike booking is midnight on the Wednesday preceding the event weekend.
