Dorking is one of cycling's well known gems for awesome riding. We take you on a tour of some of the best routes to bring a smile to your face and get those legs pedalling.
Route description:
route takes you up to a fantastic view over the south of England. Then, of course, you have to come down! We're sure the descent will be well worth the energy you put out on the way up.Note: These are approximate distances and may vary slightly depending on the road conditions and weather on the day. If you wish to change your route distance, please tell a member of the RideIt! team on the day.
Dorking has many luscious tree lined roads leading on to the North Downs and south on to the plains below where we loop back to base with a few turns to finish. Routing up Box Hill is dependant upon negotiations with National Trust and might not be the route on the day.

Fun - 15 miles
Short - 30 miles
Medium - 60 miles
Medium - 60 miles
Long - 90 miles
Event Entry Fees
Adult - Fun Road Sportive route: £7.50
Adult - All other routes: £12.50
Child entry (16 and under):Free when accompanied by a full paying adult
On the day entries incur an additional surcharge of £2.50 per person.
Online entries close the Wednesday before the event.
All Garmin hire units for this event are now booked out.
Event Timing
Registration Opens: 08:00 - 10:30am
Start times at 5 min intervals:
Fun/Short/Medium: 08:30 - 10:30am*
Long: 08:30 - 09:45am**
Event Centre Closes: 5.00pm
*Course clearing begins at 10:45am however we will not overtake the last rider
**A cut off time will be imposed for the long loop to ensure we are able to clear all of the signage. The cut off time will be advised at registration and during your rider briefing
