Hatfield Moutain Bike Ride: Saturday 28th April 2012 |
Pine Grove
Brookmans Park
Hatfield
AL9 7BN
Join us as for a weekend or riding which will see knobbly tyred mountain bikers and slick road cyclists alike set off to roam the award winning Lee Valley Regional Park, branching into the lanes and countryside of East Hertfordshire.
Route Description:
At a stone’s throw from North London, we enjoy the delights of the Lee Valley for today’s rides. This is an area that has seen much investment and well-planned development since it’s industrialised milling days and you would be hard-pressed to find an area so close to the Big Smoke that is as enjoyable to ride. We head through the Valley, following the River Lea and along some surprisingly great trails in the most unlikely areas. This is a spring ride not to be missed.
Route options available at this venue:
Short - 15 miles
Medium - 25 miles
Long - 30 miles
Note: These are approximate distances and may vary slightly depending on the road conditions and weather on the day. If you wish to change the route distance, please tell a member of the RideIt! team on the day.
