Children can cycle at RideIt! events for free. The whole family can enjoy a great day out cycling with our shorter route options for Mountain Bike and Sportive riding.
We have designed Fun (12 mile) and Short (15 mile) route options for many of our rides, so your family can share in the RideIt! Cycling experience.
Cycling is a fantastic fun activity for children that can encourage independence, socializing and confidence building. Our organised rides enable you to explore a new area without the hassle of planning a route.
For family events and Fun route rides we recommend that children can cycle independently or sit in a child seat. Any child under the age of 16 must attend the event with an accompanying adult who is over the age of 18.
You know your own ability levels and those of your children and are in the best position to decide if they can tackle a ride.
From 16 to 18 years old you will be allowed to cycle unaccompanied, providing that we have a signed parental consent form and emergency contact no for your parent/guardian.
