Home of Beatrix Potter, and Kendal Mint Cake, the Lake District is one of the most beautiful areas in the UK and we are in the heart of it. Riding really does not get more beautiful and rewarding then this.
 
Route description:
 
The Lake District is one of the most beautiful areas in the UK and we are in the heart of it.  Based out of Coniston just west of the Lake and below The Old Man, the routes take in the trails between Lake Windermere and Coniston.  Beautiful views over the surrounding countryside, a mixture of single track and fire roads which remain ride-able all year, we are sure that this one is guaranteed to please.
 
 We are pleased to offer camping for our RideIt! Lake District event so you can make a weekend of it!
 
Camping is only £7 per person per night. So join us in dusting off your tent and grabbing your sleeping bag!

Short - 15 miles
Medium - 25 miles
Long - 30 miles
 
Note: These are approximate distances and may vary slightly depending on the road conditions and weather on the day. If you wish to change your route distance, please tell a member of the RideIt! team on the day. 
 
 
Event Entry Fees
Adult - Fun Road Sportive route: £5
Adult - All other routes: £12.50 
Child entry (16 and under):Free when accompanied by a full paying adult
 
On the day entries incur an additional surcharge of £2.50 per person.  
Online entries close the Wednesday before the event.
 
 
To hire a Garmin at a RideIt! event, click here. We have a limited number of units available so will issue on a first come basis. Please email rideit@evanscycles.com with the following:
1.       Which event you would like to hire a unit for
2.       Which unit you would like to borrow Garmin Edge 200, 500, 800
3.       Your contact details
Unit bookings will close on the Wednesday before an event. Every reasonable effort will be made to contact you prior to the event.
 
 
 
Event Timing
Registration Opens: 08:00 - 10:30am
Start times at 5 min intervals:  
Fun/Short/Medium:   08:30 - 10:30am*
Long:                           08:30 - 09:45am**
Event Centre Closes: 5.00pm
 
*Course clearing begins at 10:45am however we will not overtake the last rider
**A cut off time will be imposed for the long loop to ensure we are able to clear all of the signage.  The cut off time will be advised at registration and during your rider briefing
