Move over Robin Hood as this time it is the awesome riding that will steal the lime light. We explore Sherwood Forest itself and the surrounding area with the River Trent making an appearance.
Route description:
This beautiful route takes us wandering in the footsteps of Robin Hood, and my, won’t we all be merry men after this! The mixture of broad forest trails and hard-packed fast tracks are a real blast! A large percentage of the route takes place within Sherwood Forest itself.
Route options available at this venue:
Short - 15 miles
Medium - 25 miles
Long - 30 miles
Note: These are approximate distances and may vary slightly depending on the road conditions and weather on the day. If you wish to change the route distance, please tell a member of the RideIt! team on the day.
Event Entry Fees
Adult - Fun Road Sportive route: £5
Adult - All other routes: £12.50
Child entry (16 and under): Free when accompanied by a full paying adult
On the day entries incur an additional surcharge of £2.50 per person.
Online entries close the Wednesday before the event.

Unit bookings will close on the Wednesday before an event. Every reasonable effort will be made to contact you prior to the event.
Event Timing
Registration Opens: 08:00 - 10:30am
Start times at 5 min intervals:
Fun/Short/Medium: 08:30 - 10:30am*
Long: 08:30 - 09:45am**
Event Centre Closes: 5.00pm
*Course clearing begins at 10:45am however we will not overtake the last rider
**A cut off time will be imposed for the long loop to ensure we are able to clear all of the signage. The cut off time will be advised at registration and during your rider briefing.
