Route description
Sitting on top of Sutton Bank with commanding views towards the Pennines is the National Park centre and the start for this great ride. We start off by riding North along the Cleveland way with the ground sloping away 700ft to your left, providing some stunning riding. For those on the Medium and long routes this track lasts for an amazing 10 miles before you drop down into the valleys of the Hambleton Hills and weave yourselves back along the maze of bridleways. The final sting in the tail is a long, constant climb back to the event centre and a well-earned rest. Just across the road is a scenic viewpoint where you can relax, watch the view and perhaps watch the gliders flying overhead

There is a café at the visitor centre so our own catering facilities will not be available for this event.
Event Entry Fees
Adult - Fun Road Sportive route: £5
Adult - All other routes: £12.50
Child entry(16 and under): Free when accompanied by a full paying adult
On the day entries incur an additional surcharge of £2.50 per person.
Online entries close the Wednesday before the event.

Unit bookings will close on the Wednesday before an event. Every reasonable effort will be made to contact you prior to the event.
Event Timing
Registration Opens: 08:00 - 10:30am
Start times at 5 min intervals:
Fun/Short/Medium: 08:30 - 10:30am*
Long: 08:30 - 09:45am**
Event Centre Closes:5.00pm
*Course clearing begins at 10:45am however we will not overtake the last ride.
**A cut off time will be imposed for the long loop to ensure we are able to clear all of the signage. The cut off time will be advised at registration and during your rider briefing.
