YOU CAN FIX IT!

There is nothing better than riding your bike in glorious sunny weather, to ensure you have a great experience in the saddle your bike should be in tip top condition.  This would usually mean taking it into a store to have it serviced by a qualified mechanic.  However, with some basic tweaking, cleaning and oiling services become less frequent, saving you money and time for riding!

ABOUT THE SESSIONS

We now run FREE bi-monthly sessions on basic cycle maintenance in every store.  The staff in the shop have been trained by a Cytech mechanic to demonstrate the best methods of home maintenance and are eager to share these techniques.

The session will cover the following topics:

Punctures/Tube Replacement – some handy tips to make the process stress free!

Brake Set Up – adjustment of your braking system and how to check for wear

Gear Set Up – adjustment of your gear system, including how to ‘index’ your gears

Transmission Cleaning – cleaning of the drive chain and how to check for wear

Q & A – the opportunity to speak directly with one of our trained mechanics

Every attendee will also receive a FREE Fix It Home Cycle Maintenance Guide

* Please note that all of the above will be carried out on a company demonstration bike.

We are unable to work on customer bikes during classes.

RESERVE YOUR PLACE

The session can be booked by contacting your local store and reserving a place (a £10 reservation fee will be taken, which is fully refundable in store), a list of times and days can be found below.  Each customer will receive a small booklet with instructions and pictures detailing all the topics mentioned above.  You will also get the opportunity to buy a discounted bundle of items to get you started at home.  Spaces are limited to six per session, there will be two staff on hand to answer questions and help you carry out the demonstrated techniques on your own bikes.
