Description

The Minion DHF 27.5 Folding Triple Compound EXO Tubless Ready MTB Tyre was designed for the often loose and muddy conditions of aggressive all-mountain terrain. The DHF incorporates ramped knobs for low rolling resistance and channel-cut knobs to increase gripping edges, giving straight-line control and precise cornering. The single ply casing keeps weight down and the directional, ramped knob design is compatible with both front and rear usage. Available in Black, 2.3' wide.

Tubeless Ready tyres gives the rider several benefits such as allowing riders the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction, a lower rolling resistance compared to tubed tyres and less chance of flats due to there being no tube. Maxxis tubeless Ready tyres also provide the benefits of UST tubeless tyres but without the weighty penalty. These tubeless tyres use a standard casing and require the use of a liquid sealant to make them airtight. EXO tyre technology makes the tyres extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant by using added material to the sidewalls of the tyre. This densely woven fabric is also lightweight and super flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tyre remains unaffected. EXO Protection is ideal for exceptionally rocky, treacherous trails where the chance of sidewall cuts and abrasions is high. The complete this tyre it uses the 3C Maxx Terra compound, which is an intermediate compound configuration used in select mountain tyres. 3C Maxx Terra is softer and offers more traction than 3C Maxx Speed, yet provides better tread wear and less rolling resistance than Maxx Grip.
