Selle Royal saddles was established in 1957 by Riccardo Bigolin in Pozzoleone Italy, and is well known for its history of innovative bike saddle design, including pioneering shapes and profiles that were previously impossible back in the 1980’s. Selle Royal now focusses on ergonomic designs that focus on anatomical shape, pressure relief channels, and padding distribution to provide optimal support to the sit bones and reduction of pressure on sensitive areas. It then applies this technology to the many types of saddle they produce, including touring, trekking, athletic (racing) and comfort for both push and e-bikes.
