In this program, Robbie Ventura, ex-US Postal Service pro and pro-coach, alternates core-specific on-the-bike power intervals with off-the-bike core fitness speed work. This training program is the perfect tool to build a balanced and stronger cycling core.
Robbie Ventura, accompanied by two of VisionQuest's certified fitness coaches, does the bike intervals and core routines with you. Each core fitness segment consists of warm-up movements designed to increase flexibility and strength, followed by a timed speed-work routine. On the bike, you'll see Robbie's power output in watts, heart rate, cadence, speed, intensity level, and ride time. A power meter is not required, but a heart rate monitor and cadence-capable bike computer, along with a few pieces of basic exercise equipment, are recommended.
