Introducing the Exposure Race mk9 which is the most compact MTB bar mounted light in the range but it packs a serious punch. The output has increased to 1200 lumens and it contains all the intelligence of the larger lights. Reflex Technology boosting power when needed and the new OSD function backcap keep you informed of the lights status, as well as SPT+ for the addition of accessories and ITM for power management. The optimised Mode Selector allows you to easily choose from a concise number of different programs to provide the best and optimum lighting for the ride you are going on. One of the most simple but mode effective part of the light is the fact that the light is cable free leaving no untidy cables or battery packs to connect and mount to your bike. The Smart Port+ technology automatically recognise accessories allowing you to power additional front and rear lights, use the Remote Switch and charge USB devices on the move. Reflex Technology is integrated into the light and this intelligently adjusts it's own brightness. This is a combination of gradient, acceleration and cornering forces which are interpreted to match your output for need for light whilst maintaining the burntime which you have selected. Exposure Have incorporated the Smart Port+ feature which automatically recognisee's accessories allowing you to power additional front and rear lights, use the Remote Switch and charge USB devices on the move.
The super clear and easy to use mode selection has a new feature, Capacitive Switching. The entire backcap of the light acts as a button so you can touch any point to change the mode. It intelligently senses pressure so whether you're wearing big winter gloves or just not wanting to take your eyes off the route ahead, simplified switching is a touch away. The OLED panel gives program and mode information before switching to a burntime countdown. During charging, the OSD shows the percentage of stored energy in the cells so you know how long it is before you can get back to riding. When running at 1200 Lumens for as long as it can the LED's start to get hot and can lose their intensity, however Exposure have come up with Intelligent thermal Management, which uses patented technology in the circuitry of the light in order to control the temperature. This ensures that the light remains as efficient as possible for as long as possible avoiding any loss of power. Overall this is a great light to own keeping you visible and your own vision on point when cycling through those darker sections.
