Born from an idea in the Andes, MuleBar is named after the determined pack animals of South America. MuleBar makes natural, mostly organic, incredibly tasty energy foods with a range that includes energy bars, gels and protein recovery bars. We have based our products on the belief that the body digests and uses natural ingredients better than in other non-natural energy foods.
Natural ingredients mean great performance benefits proven by our community of Mules who represent us including World Champion Triathletes (Javier Gomez Noya), World Champion Downhillers (Petra Wiltshire), Elite Ultra-runners (Anna Frost) and Team MuleBar Girls to name a few. From day one, founders Jimmy and Alex swore to donate 1% of sales to environmental causes and stay true to their goals of sustainability – July 2011 saw the world’s first energy bar in a compostable wrapper. The company is small, friendly and based in the UK, with a passion for cycling, triathlon, running and climbing plus anything else that sounds like an adventure.
