The Pinnacle Jarrah 4 2013 Mountain Bike is Pinnacle's take on 'improver-level' mountain biking. No 'novice geometry' or 'that'll do' approaches here though, just a focus on what's needed from rider-designers who remember their early days off-road. Pinnacle doesn't believe in entry level or expert frame geometry, we think it's either a good bike or it's not. So the Jarrah and Iroko frames share the same dimensions to ensure that a capable feel on a steep, loose descent for us means a confident feel on any terrain or gradient for you - or in other words, as you improve, the bike won't be holding you back. A more laid-back geometry in some ways, a more go-for-it fast and capable in others, it's our way of making sure your first off-road rides are the start of many great experiences and adventures. Jarrah Four gets a boost from the Rockshox XC32 fork with 120mm travel. More travel, more stiffness and increased smoothness get the best out of the handling of this bike. Conti tyres and a lighter 19mm wide rim and the Deore/Alivio drivetrain offers great value at this price. We add a Deore shifter where many look to save costs and the Shimano 505 brake levers improve the feel of the hydraulic discs.
