The Ramin has been our staple 29er for the past years, offering the big-wheel benefits of increased traction and stability over the rough stuff. Over these years the Ramin has evolved just like our riding, evolving into a bike which is ready for anything you can throw at it, whether that’s a multi-day ride over the high passes of the Himalayas or a blast around the local trails with your mates. Taking some of the lessons we learned while developing our 650b Iroko, the 2018 Ramin shares the long-reach, short stem, slack head angle geometry which provides bags of confidence when descending, yet keeps it efficient on the climbs. The frame and fork now has clearance for “wide trail” tyres up to 2.65” and utilises Boost spacing to ensure a stronger and stiffer wheel. The triple butted frame is tough but keeps the weight sensibly low, cable routing options allow for internal/external dropper post and/or side swing front mech, whilst triple bottle cage bosses ensure you’re ready for the next adventure. If you’re looking for a big-wheel bike with all-round attitude then this is the bike for you.
